This fourth generation Intel based processing blade delivers both performance and flexibility to help drive the successful implementation of next-generation telecom networks. It builds on the AdvancedTCA® (ATCA) standard to provide the right product at the right time to meet the needs of the telecom industry.

The ATCA-7150 blade is RoHS (5 of 6) compliant, eliminating the need for customers to incur the time, resource and expense associated with creating and/or converting existing product to meet this international requirement. And, with two Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® processors, the ATCA-7150 processor blade is the highest performance processing blade in an ATCA form factor. An array of main memory options, and two local mass storage options add to this blade’s performance and flexibility.

AdvancedTCA Processor Blade

ATCA-7301

This AdvancedTCA® processor blade has a powerful processing complex featuring the Intel® Core™2 Duo processor running at 2.16 GHz. Local storage, standard I/O and redundant Gigabit Ethernet connections, add to the back plane’s base interface. The ATCA-7301 provides two AdvancedMC (AMC) sites, which can be used to provide additional processing power or I/O capabilities and is hot swap compatible per the ATCA specification. The power and flexibility of the design makes it ideally suited for the telecom and datacom markets.

Centellis™ 500

Engineered for dependable embedded applications, the Centellis™ 500 is an innovative MicroTCA™ solution that is suitable for use in enterprise applications. It has been designed from the ground up to be an economically viable solution by utilizing an injection molded plastic enclosure with the smallest number of internal components possible for low-cost high volume manufacture. The MicroTCA backplane, fans, power module, MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH) and a card cage are included and the system is supplied fully tested including SpiderWare®M³ Platform Management software and an Emerson designed Intel® Core™2 Duo based processor Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC™ or AMC) module to speed your time to market.

As a complete system, the Centellis 500 ships ready to go out of the box with SpiderWare®M³ Platform Management software designed for quick system configuration through a set of graphical tools. It is supplied complete with the MCH-1010, a PrAMC-7211 Intel® Core™2 Duo based processor AMC, and a DC input power module. The MCH-1010 is a high performance and dependable solution that supports Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) fabric to all the AMC payload slots. With its stylish design, table-placement, and innovative low-noise cooling, the Centellis 500 is uniquely suitable for a variety of enterprise deployment scenarios.

CPCI7200
PICMG 2.0/2.16 Processor Board

CPCI7200

This single-board computer (SBC) uses the Intel® Core™2 Duo processor and E7520 + 6300ESB chipset. The single-slot configuration is ideal for thermally constrained environments and includes dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and dual channel 3.2GB/s high speed, double data rate DDR2, for a combined maximum bandwidth of 6.4GB/s.

The CPCI7200 is a low-power, high-performance SBC that offers full hot swap compliance per PICMG® 2.1 and supports the PICMG 2.9 System Management and PICMG 2.16 CompactPCI® Packet Switching Backplane open specifications. In addition to the PICMG 2.16 variants, the CPCI7200 offers other value-added features including the PLX6466 PCI-to-PCI bridge (PPB) for universal CompactPCI system – or peripheral-slot functionality.

Overall, with the value-added PLX6466 and Gigabit Ethernet/PICMG 2.16 features, the CPCI7200 board is a superior choice for telecom applications like softswitches, control plane media-transport nodes, wireless gateways, and control plane CompactPCI and PICMG 2.16 systems as well as industrial automation, aerospace, and medical applications such as railway control, on board flight information systems, and medical imaging.

KSI8560

The KSI8560 is a flexible single-wide AdvancedMC™ (AMC) module that serves as a general purpose processor (GPP) AMC or a high-density WAN I/O AMC. As a GPP module, the KSI8560 gives networking equipment manufacturers a cost-effective and powerful modular processing element with its on-board Freescale PowerQUICC III MPC8560 processor. With its add-on WAN interface, the KSI8560 provides users a high density I/O module ideal for data and signaling applications such as signaling gateways and softswitch signaling interface cards. Up to eight T1/E1/J1 interfaces are available.

The KSI8560 is designed with carrier-grade features to address a high uptime environment. Its dual-flash bank architecture and persistent memory enable network equipment manufacturers to achieve 5NINES uptime. Open standards such as AdvancedTCA® and MicroTCA™ offer a flexible system and application design. To accommodate this flexibility, the KSI8560 is available in compact, mid-, and full-size configurations. The KSI8560 is optionally integrated with Emerson’s SpiderWare® protocol software and appropriate ATCA® or MicroTCA products for turnkey solutions thus accelerating time to market.
